Did your graduate come home without a career?

The market is brutal right now — and applying harder isn't the answer. Give them one day that changes how they job hunt for the rest of their career.

"The market isn't broken. Their strategy is just outdated."

Applying to jobs isn't a strategy. It's a lottery.

Every opening today draws 300 to 500 applicants. You can't control the volume, the competition, or whether there's already an internal favorite. So we teach a different rule: don't apply to a job unless you've been invited to apply — and we show them exactly how to earn those invitations.

What they're up against

This isn't the market you graduated into.

The old playbook — apply online, wait, follow up — is failing bright, capable graduates every day. Here's why.

Frozen hiring

Companies can't plan

Economic uncertainty means employers can't forecast headcount. Roles get posted, paused, and pulled without warning — leaving graduates chasing ghost jobs.

AI shakeup

Entire job categories are shifting

AI is rewriting what entry-level work looks like. Traditional pipelines into marketing, finance, and tech are narrowing fast — and no one is telling graduates how to adapt.

The volume problem

Recruiters spend 6 seconds on a resume

Even a great graduate gets lost in a stack of 500. Without a resume that makes the case in one glance, they never reach the interview.

The new rule

Don't apply to a job unless you've been invited to apply.

Read that again. It sounds impossible in a market where everyone is told to apply to more jobs, faster. It isn't — it's exactly how the hired 2% are getting in.

Graduates will learn how to build real professional relationships, start conversations that lead somewhere, and turn strangers into advocates who open doors for them — before a single resume goes out.

01MARKET THEMSELVES

The narrative shift

We go way beyond templates. Graduates will walk out with a resume and LinkedIn profile that makes it effortless for recruiters to see them as the best candidate for a specific role — not a generic applicant hoping to get noticed.

02SEARCH STRATEGY

Inverse networking

Stop clicking "Apply" into the void. We teach graduates how to network strategically so they're invited to apply before they ever submit a resume — and wake up every morning knowing exactly what to do to move the ball forward.

What they'll walk away with

One day in. A different job seeker walks out.

01

A resume that markets them for real positions

Not a generic one-pager. A strategically positioned resume built around specific roles, incorporating SHRM best practices and exactly what HR and hiring managers are scanning for.

02

A morning action plan they'll actually follow

The moment their head lifts off the pillow, they'll know the specific moves that push the search forward that day. No more guessing. No more doom-scrolling LinkedIn.

03

A strategy that isn't spray and pray

A focused, high-signal approach that beats submitting 200 applications a week. Fewer, smarter, more intentional moves that actually land interviews.

04

A LinkedIn profile built for networking

We don't just tidy up their page — we build out a LinkedIn profile optimized for networking: a headline that earns clicks, an about that earns replies, and a profile recruiters actually find. Optimized so the right people reach out to them.

05

A professional headshot, taken on the day

First impressions happen online before they ever meet a recruiter. We'll take their professional headshot right at the seminar — so their LinkedIn, resume, and portfolio all show the same polished, confident face from day one.

06

Clarity on the leverage they already have

Everyone has leverage — most graduates just can't see theirs. We'll help them identify it, name it, and use it to open doors that stay closed for everyone else.

"I've spent my career on the other side of the hiring desk. Everything we teach in this room is what actually moves a candidate from ignored to interviewed."

— Timothy Lo

Why in person

We do this in a room, together.

A live room changes the physics of learning. Questions get asked. Skepticism gets aired. Practice happens out loud. And graduates leave with the confidence you can't get from a video on 2x speed.

Why in person and not a webinar?+

Because job searching is a full-contact sport, and so is learning it. In-person is more engaging, easier for asking the awkward questions that actually matter, and it forces the kind of participation that sticks. A day in the room beats a month of tabs left open.

What if my graduate is shy or introverted?+

That's exactly who this room is built for. Small-group format, structured exercises, and permission to ask what they've been afraid to ask. They're surrounded by graduates in the same boat — not competing against them.

Will you rewrite or redesign their resume?+

Yes. Our writers start working with your graduate about two weeks before the seminar to build out their resume together — not a template swap, a full strategic rewrite positioned for specific roles. They'll arrive with a strong draft and finalize it in the room. If it's not fully done by seminar day, we keep working with them until it is.

Will you spend a lot of time on the resume during the seminar?+

Not as much as you'd think. The heavy lifting happens beforehand with our writers, so the seminar day stays focused on strategy, networking, and the daily action plan. We use the room to pressure-test and polish what's already on the page — not to start from scratch.

Is this for any major?+

Yes. The strategy is industry-agnostic — the frameworks apply whether they studied finance, biology, communications, computer science, or the arts.

What's included in the day?+

A full day of live instruction from 10 AM to 4 PM, meals provided, one-on-one coaching moments, and every worksheet and framework they need to run their search after they leave.
